Join us in 2025 for exciting financial workshops.

The first session in 2025 is on Sat Jan. 4 at 10 a.m.

However, unless otherwise noted, workshops will be held virtually on the third Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon.

In 2025, we will incorporate basic financial math lessons and continue our series on "Adulting," which will help young adults adjust to the financial decisions following high school and/or college. Please connect to the young adults in your life and invite them to participate.

We also encourage you to invite friends and family to the monthly meetings.

January 4 (1st Sat.)	Introduction to Prosperity Partners In the last two years, ministry members erased more than $1 million in debt. Come find out how some people did it!	In preparation for the February session: 1. Purchase Michelle Singletary's book "The 21 Day Financial Fast: Your Path to Financial Peace and Freedom." You won't start reading until we start the fast later in the year.
February 15	Net Worth & Budgeting Don't let the numbers scare you: Personal Finance Math	In preparation for the March session: 1. Be sure to purchase "The 21 Day Financial Fast." 2. Use this excel to prepare your net worth statement, debt dash, and budget. Click the tabs for each session. Once you are assigned a Senior Partner, you will review the documents and set financial goals for the year.
March 15	Is a Sense of Entitlement keeping you from achieving financial freedom? Spending Journal	In preparation for the April session: 1. Think about a financial decision that ended up costing you money. 2. Begin tracking your spending for the previous 6 months with a spending journal.
March 29	Legal/Financial/ Estate Planning Symposium (Special churchwide event)	This event is an opportunity to inform and empower FBCG members and the local community by providing vital legal, mediation, personal finance, and estate planning information and resources. Attendees can meet one-on-one with an attorney or consumer credit counselor throughout the day.
April 19	Decision Making Smart Consumer Buying	In preparation for the May session: 1. Pull your credit report at annualcreditreport.com. 2. Get a free credit score. 3. Review decision making model: Six Steps to Bad Decision Making & 7 Steps to Better Decision Making. 4. Start the 21 Day Financial Fast on April 21. Use the 21 Day Financial Fast Pre & Post Review to track your progress.

June 21	Budget & Debt Refresher	In preparation for the July session: 1. Continue to review and work on your budget.
July 19	"Adulting" Money Management & Q&A for Young Adults	In preparation for the Sept. session: 1. Nothing. Just have fun and relax in August.

Be ready to review your progress with maintaining your budget. 2. Pull together your retirement account information. Do you know what you're investing in?
October 18	Yes, You Can Become a Millionaire Investing Basics	In preparation for the November session: 1. Write about the best gift you ever received that didn't come from a store.
November 15	Holiday Shopping Tips Avoiding Scams	In preparation for the December session: 1. Write a testimony about what you learned and accomplished in Prosperity Partners in 2025. Email it to prosperitypartners@fbcglenarden.org 2. Submit your nomination for Junior/Senior Partner of the Year (We'll honor them with a cash gift!).
December 20	Assessing Your Progress Annual Awards Program	Prepare for the New Year 1. Remember to register for Prosperity Partners Ministry for 2026.
